Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: March 14, 2025
Introduction
Secured Integration (accessible at securedintegration.com) is a web application operated by Plademy Oy. Its purpose is to provide secure and seamless meeting scheduling and calendar integrations (e.g., with Zoom, Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook Calendar) to help users manage appointments efficiently. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you (the user) and Plademy Oy regarding your use of Secured Integration. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to abide by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you should not use Secured Integration.
Account Registration and Security
To use Secured Integration, you must register using a supported third-party account (currently Google or Microsoft login). You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration is accurate and for keeping your login credentials (such as your Google/Microsoft account access) secure. You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility, so please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use or security breach. You agree not to engage in any activities that compromise the security or integrity of the platform, including (but not limited to) attempting to bypass authentication, introducing malware, or using the Service in a way that disrupts others' use.
Prohibited Activities
When using Secured Integration, you agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or create accounts for anyone other than yourself without proper authorization.
- Use the platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our Service or breach any security or authentication measures.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g., by imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, spreading viruses, or using any manual or automated software to scrape or access our data without permission).
- Use the Service to transmit any content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others, including any harassing, defamatory, or obscene communications.
Violating the above rules may result in suspension or termination of your account (see Termination of Services below) and could also lead to legal consequences.
Services and Integrations
Secured Integration provides tools and features to schedule meetings and synchronize events across multiple calendar and conferencing platforms. For example, you can connect your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar to create and manage events, and integrate video conferencing services like Zoom or Microsoft Teams to automatically generate meeting links. Our Service acts as a centralized hub that allows these third-party services to work together for your convenience.
When you choose to integrate Secured Integration with third-party services, you authorize Plademy Oy to interface with those services on your behalf. This may involve accessing your calendars or scheduling information, creating meeting entries, or retrieving details necessary to provide the integration. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the rights to connect any third-party account you use with our Service and that all information you provide (such as calendar access tokens or meeting details) is correct and up-to-date.
Please note that each third-party service (Google, Microsoft, Zoom, etc.) has its own terms of service and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms when using their integrations through our platform. Plademy Oy does not control and is not responsible for Third-Party Services. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the availability or performance of those external platforms, and any use of third-party integrations is at your own risk. If a third-party service modifies its API, experiences an outage, or alters its service terms, Secured Integration may be impacted. In such cases, we will attempt to adapt our Service, but we are not liable for any issues, losses, or damages arising from those third-party services' actions or policies.
User Responsibilities
When using Secured Integration, you agree to use the platform in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner. This means you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations (local, national, and international) and refrain from any behavior that could negatively affect the Service or other users.
Key user responsibilities include:
- Legal Compliance: You must not use Secured Integration for any activities that violate any laws or regulations. This includes data protection laws, export control laws, intellectual property laws, and any other applicable rules.
- Ethical Use: Use the platform for its intended purpose (scheduling and integration) and avoid any misuse. Do not harass, abuse, or harm other individuals or organizations using the Service. For example, you should not use Secured Integration to send spam invitations or misleading calendar events.
- Respect for Security Measures: You must not attempt to disable, circumvent, or otherwise interfere with any security features or access controls of the Service. Any attempt to access another user's data or our system resources without authorization is strictly prohibited.
- Platform Integrity: Refrain from any action that could introduce harmful software or disrupt the normal operation of Secured Integration. This includes avoiding the upload or transmission of viruses, worms, or any code of a destructive nature.
- Account Responsibility: As noted in the Account Security section, you are responsible for actions taken under your account. Do not allow others to use your login, and promptly inform Plademy Oy if you believe your account has been compromised.
By upholding these responsibilities, you help maintain a secure and reliable environment for all users.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is very important to us. Plademy Oy is committed to handling your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws. When you use Secured Integration, we may collect and process certain personal data (for example, your name, email address, and any calendar or meeting information necessary for providing our service). We use this data solely for purposes related to delivering and improving the Service, such as scheduling your meetings or synchronizing events at your request.
We store and protect your data using industry-standard security measures. This includes technical safeguards like encryption and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction of your information.
Plademy Oy will never sell your personal data to third parties. We only share your data with third-party services to the extent necessary for the integrations you have explicitly enabled (for instance, sending event details to Zoom to schedule a meeting), and such transfers are handled securely.
Plademy Oy is a company based in Finland, and we operate in compliance with Finland's privacy regulations and GDPR. By using Secured Integration, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in Finland or in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, but always under strict data protection standards. You also consent to the necessary processing of your data to enable the platform's functionality.
For more details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy (available on our website). That policy also explains your rights under GDPR – such as the rights to access, correct, or delete your data – and how you can exercise those rights. If you have any privacy-related questions or requests, you can contact us (see Contact Information below).
Service Availability and Uptime Commitment
We understand that you rely on Secured Integration to manage your meetings and schedule, and we strive to provide a reliable service with high uptime. However, we cannot guarantee that the Service will be available 100% of the time. There may be occasions when the Service is down or limited due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical problems. When possible, we will perform maintenance during off-peak hours and provide advance notice to users (for example, via email or an announcement on our site) to minimize disruption.
While we aim to keep the Service running smoothly, Plademy Oy reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. Changes may include adding or removing features or even temporarily shutting down the Service for maintenance or upgrades. If we make material changes or plan to discontinue a core feature, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you in advance so you can prepare (for instance, by backing up any important data).
Please note that Plademy Oy is not liable for any unavailability of the Service, whether due to technical failures, maintenance, or factors outside our control (such as Internet outages or issues with third-party providers). We commit to addressing any service interruptions as quickly as possible and to keeping you informed about the status whenever significant downtimes occur.
Fees, Payments, and Refunds (if applicable)
Secured Integration may offer both free and premium (paid) features or plans. If you use a free version of the Service, you can access its basic functionality at no charge. If you choose to subscribe to a paid plan or purchase add-on services (if and when available), you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented to you at the time of purchase. Any fees will be clearly disclosed, and you will have the opportunity to review and accept the charges before they are incurred.
Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions (if introduced) might be billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually). You must provide a valid payment method (such as a credit card or other accepted payment instrument), and you authorize Plademy Oy to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on the schedule disclosed. All prices are stated in the indicated currency and will include taxes or duties when required by law. You are responsible for any taxes or duties associated with your purchase of the Service, in accordance with applicable law.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of your current billing period, and your subscription will not renew thereafter. We do not generally provide refunds for unused portions of a billing cycle after you cancel, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. For example, if applicable law grants you a right to withdraw from a subscription within a short "cooling-off" period, we will honor that.
Plademy Oy also reserves the right to adjust our fees or introduce new charges in the future, with prior notice. If any fee changes apply, we will notify you in advance (for instance, by email or via the Service), and the new rates will apply from the start of your next billing cycle. If you do not agree with a fee change, you may cancel your subscription before the new rates take effect to avoid incurring the new charges.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content and materials provided through Secured Integration, including (but not limited to) the software, codebase, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other components, are the intellectual property of Plademy Oy or its licensors. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Plademy Oy retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service and its underlying technology.
Limited License to Users
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Secured Integration and its features for your personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms. This license is provided solely for the purpose of enabling you to use and receive the benefit of the Service as intended by Plademy Oy.
Restrictions
Except as expressly permitted by us, you agree not to:
- Copy, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works of any part of the Service or the content provided through it.
- Distribute, sell, resell, rent, lease, or commercially exploit the Service or any portion of it to any third party.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract or otherwise derive the source code of the Service or software (except to the limited extent allowed by law).
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices displayed in the Service or in any content delivered through the Service.
Any unauthorized use of the Service or its content may result in termination of the license granted to you and could violate copyright or other laws. Plademy, Secured Integration, and their associated logos and names are trademarks of Plademy Oy. You are not permitted to use these trademarks without our prior written consent, especially not in any manner that could cause confusion or imply endorsement by Plademy Oy.
Please note that any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us regarding Secured Integration are completely voluntary. We are free to use any feedback or suggestions you provide without any obligation or compensation to you, and any such feedback will not confer on you any rights or ownership in the Service.
Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Use of Service "As Is": Secured Integration is provided to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to offer a great experience, we make no warranties or guarantees of any kind about the Service. Plademy Oy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We cannot promise that Secured Integration will meet all your requirements, or that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Third-Party Services: As noted above, our platform interoperates with third-party services like Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, but we do not have control over those services. Therefore, we do not warrant or assume responsibility for any issues originating from third-party services that you integrate with our platform. Plademy Oy shall not be liable for failures in scheduling or any damages or losses arising from the malfunction, inaccuracy, or unavailability of any third-party platform. For example, if a calendar event fails to be created on a linked third-party calendar or a video meeting link does not work as expected due to a problem with that external service, we are not responsible for such issues.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plademy Oy (including its directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. We are also not liable for any loss of data, use, business, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, Secured Integration.
- Any conduct or content of any third party using the Service (including unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any data stored within, or any malware or scripts transmitted through the Service by a third party).
- Any content obtained from or through the Service.
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.
In no event shall the total cumulative liability of Plademy Oy for all claims arising out of or related to your use of the Service exceed the amount (if any) that you paid to Plademy Oy for the use of the Service in the six (6) months immediately preceding the claim. If you have paid no fees to Plademy Oy for use of the Service, Plademy Oy's total liability to you for any claim will be €0. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, the above disclaimers and limitations will apply to you only to the maximum extent permitted by law (and, for example, you may have specific legal rights as a consumer that override some of the above provisions).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plademy Oy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from or relate to your use or misuse of Secured Integration, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another person or entity (for example, violation of someone's intellectual property or privacy rights). This means that if a third party makes a claim against Plademy Oy due to your conduct, you will be responsible for any resulting damage or cost (including legal fees) incurred by Plademy. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you (in which case you agree to cooperate with us in defending such matter, at your expense).
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
We hope to resolve any disputes or concerns informally and amicably. If you have any issue arising from your use of Secured Integration or these Terms, we encourage you to contact us first to seek a resolution. Most questions or disagreements can be resolved through our support team without needing formal legal action.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to the Service will be governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict of law principles. You and Plademy Oy agree that all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland. If you are a consumer residing in a member state of the European Union, you may also be entitled to resolve disputes in your home country under applicable consumer protection laws, and you have the option to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for mediation.
Arbitration or Mediation
As an alternative to court litigation, Plademy Oy may mutually agree with you to submit a dispute to arbitration or mediation. Any such proceeding would take place in Helsinki, Finland (or another mutually agreed location), in English or Finnish. Arbitration is a process where a neutral arbitrator (rather than a judge) makes a binding decision. Mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral mediator helps the parties reach a mutual agreement. Plademy Oy is not obligated to agree to arbitration in every case, but it may be considered for efficient dispute resolution.
Even if we engage in arbitration or mediation, both you and Plademy retain the right to seek emergency injunctive relief or other equitable remedies from a court to prevent immediate harm (for example, to stop unauthorized use of the Service or infringement of intellectual property). To the extent permitted by law, you and Plademy Oy agree not to bring or participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitrations related to the Service. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis.
Modifications to Terms
Plademy Oy may update or change these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the Terms on our website and adjusting the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. In some cases, we may also send a notice via email or within the Service (for example, a notification in the app) to inform you of significant changes. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of Secured Integration after an updated version of the Terms has been posted (and after any notified update takes effect) constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to a change in the Terms, you should stop using the Service and (if applicable) cancel any paid subscription before the new Terms apply. Always feel free to contact us if you have questions about any change. For your convenience, we may keep an archived version of previous terms available or provide a summary of changes when we update this document.
Termination of Services
Termination by You
You are free to stop using Secured Integration at any time. You may also delete your Secured Integration account (if that functionality is available) or request account deletion through our support channels. Terminating your account will revoke your access to the Service, and any active integrations or scheduled operations may cease to function. If you terminate a paid subscription, the Fees, Payments, and Refunds terms above will govern any rights regarding refunds or continued access (typically, you won't be charged further and can use the paid features until the end of the period you've paid for).
Termination or Suspension by Plademy Oy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Secured Integration (or certain features within it) at our discretion, with or without prior notice, if:
- We reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or any applicable law;
- You pose a security risk or risk of harm to our systems or other users; or
- We are required to do so to comply with legal requirements.
We may also suspend or terminate the Service (in whole or in part) if we decide to discontinue the platform or a particular feature. In the event of a planned discontinuation of the Service, we will make an effort to provide advance notice to users.
After termination (whether by you or by us), your right to use Secured Integration will immediately cease. Any data you have stored on the platform may be permanently deleted, except to the extent we are obligated to retain it for legal reasons or as described in our Privacy Policy. We strongly encourage you to maintain your own backups of any important data, appointments, or information to prevent loss in case of termination.
Certain provisions of these Terms will survive the termination of your account or access to the Service. Any provisions that by their nature should survive (including but not limited to Intellectual Property Rights, Privacy and Data Protection, Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution and Governing Law) shall remain in effect even after termination.
